Mt. Holly, N.J. – Oaks Integrated Care recently kicked off their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive to help families in need throughout New Jersey. The nonprofit organization will collect frozen turkeys and nonperishable Thanksgiving food items through Monday, November 20. The drive ensures deserving community members living in poverty and struggling with mental illness or developmental disabilities can celebrate the holiday with a traditional Thanksgiving feast.

Oaks Integrated Care hopes to collect over 1,500 turkeys to make Thanksgiving special for families in their programs. Chief Executive Officer, Derry Holland, shares, “Thanksgiving is a time to come together and share in a special tradition. The donations we receive will make a warm, home-cooked meal accessible and create meaningful holiday memories for the families in our programs. Every donation matters and we truly appreciate the community’s support!”

Community members can ensure food does not have to be a choice this holiday. Drop off donations to the Mt. Holly Food Pantry at 770 Woodlane Road, Suite 16, Mt. Holly or the Berlin Food Pantry at 128 Berlin Cross Keys Road, Berlin. Oaks Integrated Care encourages individuals, companies, schools, faith based organizations and civic groups interested in holding food drives to contact the Development Office at 609-267-5928 for more details.
