With your help we will sponsor 100 families through our holiday gift drive. \nThe need for support has skyrocketed during the pandemic. As the holiday season approaches\, every donation will give the gift of hope and peace to families in your community. \nHoliday Gift Drive\nNovember 1 – December 21\nShare holiday cheer by sponsoring a family in need! With many families struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic\, our food pantries serving Burlington\, Camden and Mercer Counties need your support now more than ever. Come Together Week is a chance for you to support not just Oaks\, but our local restaurants\, that have all been negatively impacted by COVID-19 shutdowns. Your contribution is tax deductible! \n\n\n\nGet ready for a live virtual cooking demonstration by Food Network’s Chef Aaron McCargo\, Jr. Prepare a delicious meal with ingredients you can find right in your own pantry! We will send the menu and ingredient list to all registrants one week prior to the event date. To ensure the health and safety of the families we serve and Oaks employees\, we are asking for your support virtually in 2020 through a monetary donation. With your help we will purchase and distribute over 1\,000 backpacks to children and teens in our programs. \nMany parents of children in Oaks Integrated Care programs cannot afford new backpacks and basic school supplies. The need for support has skyrocketed during the pandemic. As families and students prepare for the many changes that lie ahead\, each small gift can help to ensure that they have enough supplies to be successful in learning\, in school or at home.  \nSponsor One Child or More!\nYour $25 donation will ensure one child or teen receives a NEW backpack filled with school supplies. Your generous contribution will directly impact a family’s ability to thrive and be self-sufficient! \n\n    \nDid You Know?\n1 in 3 families in the United States struggle to pay for diapers \n\nAlthough safety-net programs help with the cost of food\, they do not cover the cost of diapers. \n\nBabies use more than 2\,700 diapers in the first year alone – a cost many families struggle to afford. \n\nWithout a supply of diapers\, babies cannot participate in early childhood education. \n\nChildren who do not have access to clean diapers are exposed to health risks such as painful rashes and infections.
