Burlington County Times, August 31, 2017 – Burlington County will start an Opioid Overdose Recovery Program in October, administered by Oaks Integrated Care, that will have specialists respond to emergency rooms to assist those who have been revived from an overdose in hopes of jump-starting their recovery. The program will offer those struggling with addiction support for a minimum of 60 days to help navigate their recovery by exploring treatment options, including outpatient residential services or medication-assisted therapy, according to the county.
