The R.I.T.E. (Realizing Independence Through Empowerment) Center in Burlington County focuses on complete wellness and recovery for individuals struggling with mental illness and/or addiction.

Self Help Center
The R.I.T.E. Center offers peer support, socialization and community resources for anyone dealing with mental health and/or addiction issues in a relaxing environment. Our mission is to empower individuals to believe wellness and recovery is possible. All staff and members are current or previous consumers who provide a broad range of resources and shared experiences.

Activities and Groups
The comfortable setting of the R.I.T.E. Center fosters new friendships and connections. When you walk through the doors, you will find several seating areas, computers, a television, books and other activities. The Center promotes activities and groups that focus on peer support, wellness and recovery issues, self-help, advocacy and socialization. The Center also provides assistance with nutrition, exercise, literacy, computer skills and job readiness. Wi-fi available.

Recreation and Outings
Members at the center enjoy gathering for recreational activities including:

• Board and card games, puzzles
• Cooking and baking
• Arts and crafts
• Music
• Community outings – movie theater, mall, bowling, roller skating, zoo, museums, sporting events and more!

The R.I.T.E. Center is the official Burlington County meeting location for both Recovery International and Suicide Anonymous:

Meets every Tuesday from 1pm – 2pm
