Human rights are rights to which all human beings are entitled just because they are human, regardless of the society, culture or the times in which they live.

In celebration of Human Rights month this December, the Oaks Ethics and Human Rights Committee invited staff and consumers from all programs and departments to showcase what Human Rights means to them by contributing to the Oaks virtual art gallery.

Basic human rights give us the freedom to express our identity. Over 70 submissions were received from across the agency in a variety of forms including collages, paintings, papier-mâché and more.

Below are just a few samples of the inspirational art projects – click here to see the whole gallery!
