Last week, Oaks Integrated Care suffered an unimaginable loss with the unexpected passing of Brenda Brown-Goggins, Chief of Quality and Healthcare Integration. Brenda served Oaks for over 27 years and impacted the lives of thousands of individuals in our community, from consumers, to staff, to community partners during her tenure. 
As a valued member of our executive leadership team, Brenda was truly dedicated to our purpose and mission. She was the Director of ICMS services for 22 years and was promoted to Vice President in 2015. In 2021, Brenda was promoted to Chief of Quality where she worked closely with our operations team to ensure the highest quality services throughout our organization.
Words can’t begin to express the profound impact Brenda has had on us and our mission. We were fortunate enough to capture her talking about her time at Oaks and we thought it might be best to share this video with you so you can remember Brenda as she was—a humble, dedicated, mission-driven, spirited, caring, and attentive leader who always strived to uplift those around her.

On a personal level, I will miss Brenda and her many thoughtful contributions to every discussion we had. We are a better organization because of her many influences over the years and I feel fortunate to have had her on my team working directly with me for twelve years. I never stopped learning from Brenda. I am forever grateful to her.
