Early Intervention Support Services (EISS)

Are you feeling overwhelmed or stressed? Don’t go straight to the Emergency Room. Early Intervention Support Services (EISS) offers immediate access to mental health services for adults 18 years and older in the South Jersey region. Consider it “urgent care” for individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral health problems. Now offering telehealth services!

Important COVID-19 Update

  • We are OPEN and accepting new clients. Call first before visiting EISS locations.
  • COVID hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Mon.-Sat. Staff are available for calls from 5:30-8:00pm, Mon.-Fri.
  • We are encouraging telehealth services via video and phone whenever possible. Our first priority is the health and safety of the people we serve and our employees.
  • If telehealth is not possible, we are offering on-site services. Telehealth rooms have also been created on site for those who wish to come on site, but do not need to be in same room as on site staff.

Get the Help You Need, When You Need It

Finding your way to wellness and recovery during times of crisis is not always easy. EISS focuses on helping you choose your best path while building and reinforcing coping skills and support networks. The program emphasizes wellness and recovery principals that will see you through the immediate crisis and future challenges.

You will connect with a team member who will help you create a treatment plan to better manage your problems and begin feeling better. Our team will work with you to find the best treatment option available. Services are provided regardless of income or insurance and include:

  • Individual counseling
  • Medication treatment
  • Peer support
  • Case management
  • Access to community resources
  • Referral to follow-up services

Take Control of Your Life

While remaining in the community, you will work with the EISS team for up to 30 days to develop your strengths. Our goal is to help you acquire the skills and resilience necessary to manage your crisis and move on with your life. In order to continue with the strides you make while at the program, we will assist you in building a support network to implement a successful recovery. Support networks may include service providers, family members, friends, religious institutions and other community resources.
