In November 2025, Oaks officially announced a merger with the Association for Advancement of Public Health (AAMH), a behavioral health nonprofit in Princeton, NJ, serving the greater Mercer County community. The partnership unites two mission-driven organizations committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for vulnerable children, adults, and families. We welcome COPE Center to our family of services! On May 1, 2021, Oaks officially announced a merger with COPE Center in Essex County. Headquartered in Montclair, COPE services and locations will remain the same and continue to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families in their local communities. COPE Center has been strengthening communities by helping people overcome challenges with drugs, alcohol, family and AIDS since 1971. Children’s Mobile Response

A Family Focused Approach Children’s Mobile Response (CMR) uses a family focused approach to help children ages 5-21 experiencing a behavioral or emotional crisis. Immediate, in-home stabilization services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Camden County. If a child is experiencing any of the following symptoms that interfere with life at home or at school, we will send a trained professional to the home that same day.
