We welcome AAMH to our family of services!

In November 2025, Oaks officially announced a merger with the Association for Advancement of Public Health (AAMH), a behavioral health nonprofit in Princeton, NJ, serving the greater Mercer County community. The partnership unites two mission-driven organizations committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for vulnerable children, adults, and families.

Programs & Services

AAMH provides a range of behavioral health care services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Programs are designed to meet the individual needs and goals of clients and include preparing them to live independently, helping them return to the workforce and enabling them to meet the challenges of everyday living to their fullest abilities.

Partial Care is a wellness-based, day-treatment program that provides an integrated approach to mental health and substance abuse care. With the help of their personal counselor, clients develop their own individualized recovery plan based on their values and goals, including returning to work or school. Families are encouraged to be part of the planning process.

We offer personalized, confidential counseling by Master’s level Social Workers and Counselors. Our psychiatric staff provides evaluation, consultation and medication management services if needed. Our immediate goal is to improve or stabilize functioning and well-being followed by focus on long-term needs. Services include:

  • Psychosocial Evaluation and Assessment
  • Individual and Family Psychotherapy and Counseling
  • Psychiatric Evaluation and Assessment
  • Psychopharmacological Management

Our Behavioral Health Home integrates behavioral health and primary care utilizing a holistic approach to wellness. The program coordinates clients medical and mental health needs and provides individualized support to help clients obtain and follow through with all aspects of treatment. BHH promotes healthy lifestyles to maintain or prevent chronic medical illnesses.

  • Health and Wellness Groups, including yoga, smoking cessation, medication education groups
  • On-site Primary Care Provider

Please call our Access Center at 1-800-963-3377 to learn more or schedule an appointment. AAMH accepts Medicaid for Outpatient Services and Behavioral Health Home programs. Medicaid and Medicare are accepted for Partial Care.
