Mount Holly, NJ, October 15, 2020- Oaks Integrated Care’s Restaurant Week begins Friday, October 16 and runs through Friday, October 23, with local restaurants offering a variety of curbside pick-up, outdoor and indoor dining options. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefits the Oaks Food Pantries serving Burlington, Camden and Mercer Counties. The week is designed to spotlight the region’s diverse restaurants and gives participants the chance to explore new places, all while fighting hunger in the community.
Derry Holland, Oaks CEO explains, “With many families struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic, our food pantries need your support now more than ever to keep the shelves stocked. Local restaurants have supported our Progressive Dinner fundraising events for over 15 years. COVID-19 shutdowns have negatively impacted our local economy and Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to come together and show our appreciation.”
More than 15 restaurants (23 locations) will offer dine-in and take-out options throughout the week. From Wood Grilled Bacon Wrapped Filet to Rigatoni Rustica, Cauliflower Pizza and Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Oaks Restaurant Week features plenty of creative food selections. Some restaurants are featuring a special prix-fix menu with multiple courses while others are keeping it simple and holding a dine and donate night.
Revere Restaurant in Ewing, one of the first restaurants to sign on, shares, “We’re looking at Restaurant Week as a true collaboration. It’s an opportunity for people to support local restaurants and at the same time give back to your community. All week we’re offering a delicious three course prix fixe menu with curbside and dine-out options available.”
Turning Point restaurant adds, “Our Cherry Hill, Marlton, Moorestown and Princeton locations are all excited to participate in Restaurant Week. We encourage people to come out and try a Pancake Flight, Bourbon Walnut Pancakes or Cinnamon Roll Pancakes – the perfect fresh start to your day!
