FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mount Holly, NJ | January 28, 2022 – Oaks Integrated Care is proud to announce Marianne Aleardi of SJ Magazine, as the newly elected board chair for the nonprofit organization. As a dedicated member of the board of trustees for ten years, Aleardi continues to give back to the South Jersey region through service and leadership in the community.
Aleardi serves as publisher / editor-in-chief of SJ Magazine, a multi-media company focusing on the people and places of Southern New Jersey. With the focus of her career on women’s empowerment, she has created and hosted Women’s Empowerment Panels and conducted one-on-one interviews with leaders such as First Lady Tammy Murphy and N.J. Health Commissioner Judith Persichelli. In addition, she frequently spends time speaking to youth groups, especially young women, on commitment and success.
In her new role as board chair, Aleardi will share her time, talent and business skills with the nonprofit. She replaces David Gaskin, CEO of Seaman’s Society for Children and Families, making her the first woman since 2008 to occupy the board chair position. “We’re extremely grateful for David’s leadership and guidance throughout the pandemic. I look forward to continuing to serve beside David and other fellow board members committed to making an impact on the lives of our community’s most vulnerable children and families,” shares Aleardi.
Derry Holland, CEO of Oaks Integrated Care, says confidently, “We are thrilled to have Marianne as our new Board Chair. She cares deeply about our mission and brings a wealth of valuable experience and expertise to our organization.”
Aleardi also serves on the boards of The Alicia Rose “Victorious” Foundation, Symphony in C, and the Executive Committee for the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” Campaign. In 2015, she was appointed to the Camden County Addiction Awareness Task Force by the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
