Oaks offers compassionate, supportive programs throughout New Jersey for children from birth through age 21 and families experiencing behavioral and emotional issues and/or living with a developmental disability. Whether you are struggling with family conflict, learning to manage a mental illness or parenting a child facing difficulties in school, we will partner with you to identify areas that need strengthening and improve your quality of life.
A variety of short and long-term treatment options are designed to meet the individualized needs of your child and family to improve emotional, behavioral and social well-being. Our professional team commits to providing excellent clinical care in a safe, welcoming environment at home, school or in the community. Using Trauma Informed Care, we embrace each person’s diverse story including life experiences, history and culture. With the right support system in place, it is possible to reach higher levels of functioning and independence.
Oaks offers supportive, compassionate outpatient counseling to children, adults and families in convenient locations throughout southern and central NJ. Therapuetic counseling can help individuals and families make adjustments to life, resolve conflicts, better cope with challenges and achieve goals.
In-home and in-community services provide individualized support for children with special emotional/behavioral needs and/or a developmental disability and their families. Services such as case management, life skills training, mentoring and more are designed to prevent the need for out-of-home placements.
Get the help you need, when you need it. Do you know a child experiencing thoughts or behaviors that interfere with life at home and at school? Crisis intervention services provide 24/7 emergency outreach to children and families in times of emotional distress or mental health crisis.
Oaks offers residential services for children ages 5-21 experiencing emotional/ behavioral issues or living with a developmental disability. 24/7 services include therapy, psychiatric care, medical care recreational and educational support coordinated in a welcoming, safe group home environment.
From a specialized pre-school program for children experiencing emotional and behavioral issues, to family assistance for parents challenged with mental illness, our partial care programs offer compassionate, effective mental health services.
Oaks provides supportive services such as mentoring, respite and counseling to foster and adoptive families in order to stablize the living situation and promote healthy, emotional growth.
